SEF Craft Corner

As an empowerment initiative, SEF regularly engages community women for developing local handicrafts. The craftswomen are enrolled as learners in SEF's Women's Literacy & Empowerment Program in Sindh. The women weave cotton threads and zarri into elaborately embroidered motifs which are used to make an array of products. Embroidery has been a lifelong custom and remains a source of income generation for these rural women.
